The first annual Northeast North Carolina Niche Agriculture Conference will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center in Barco, NC on November 18, 2022. A full day of education and networking is planned. Horticultural topics including ginger production in high tunnels and field, cut flower production, growing microgreens, and understanding GAP certification will be presented in the morning sessions. Lunch will be provided and will highlight a very special guest speaking on marketing your small farm successfully. The afternoon will feature small farm livestock topics including poultry, swine, and small ruminant production and NC Choices.
