North Carolina Small Grain Growers will vote on December 4th on whether to continue the voluntary assessment of .005 (1/2 of 1%) per $1 on the gross sales dollar amount of small grain purchased from their farm for the next 6 years. Voting will take place at the N.C. Cooperative Extension office located at 104 Lancaster Avenue in Windsor from 8:30 until 12 noon. Growers must be 18 or older to vote and attest to growing small grain on their farm in North Carolina.
