Do you have an interest in growing Muscadine grapes in northeast North Carolina?Come learn more about establishing a vineyard including trellising techniques, variety selection and production information. This workshop will be held on January 31, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at James Family Farm (1939 Free Union Rd, Jamesville, N.C.) With the high costs of plants and materials it is important to get started out right for successful Muscadine grape production. This hands-on workshop will be “in the field” for a better learning experience but do dress appropriately for the weather. Lunch will be served. Registration is required to attend this event.
