The Bertie Forestry Assn and N.C. Cooperative Extension, Bertie County Center will host the 2026 Woodland Management Meeting on Tuesday, February 17, at the N.C. Cooperative Extension Office, 104 Lancaster Avenue in Windsor.  Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., and a catered meal at 6:00 p.m.  All attending are encouraged to join the Association for $10, which will help pay for the meal, Association promotion, and annual tour. This year's program features a panel of local consultants who will offer insights on local markets and ways to increase the value and desirability of your timber. Following the panel, Bill Barber will take a look back at how the logging industry has changed over the years in Bertie County.
