The Bertie Forestry Association and Bertie Cooperative Extension Service will host their annual forestry tour on March 11.  This year, the tour group will visit the Ashton Lewis Lumber Company in Gatesville, followed by a field visit in the afternoon to look at the mechanics of timber cruising.  The group will meet at the Extension office at 8:45 a.m.and depart at 9:00 a.m.  A Dutch lunch will be available following the mill tour.   Please register by March 4.  Space is limited.
