Next Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, a training event regarding the updates to the H-2A labor program will be held at the Johnston County Agricultural Center in Smithfield, NC, from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Topics of discussion will include information regarding the new Final Rule and SOC code changes, 790/790A General Instructions, Housing changes after the new Final Rule, instructions for Notice of Deficiency (NOD), and more.

Additional Presenters: US DOL- Wage and Hour Division (WHD) regarding H-2A program updates, Erica Peterson - NC Agribusiness Council presenting information on Foreign Labor Contractor (FLC) Licensure, and NC DOL regarding employer-provided housing.
