Growers and individuals interested in agricultural production are invited to attend the    2017 Bertie Farm Tour on August 10th at the Peanut Belt Research Station in Lewiston. Registration begins at 8:30 with the tour starting at 9:00 a.m. Stops this year include discussions on weed control in sage, twin row corn production, cotton variety selection, growing industrial hemp, peanut production and disease control. Featured speakers include NCSU Extension specialist with plot and field work at the Station as well as members of the Bertie County Extension Staff. For more information, please call 794-5317.
